The JXD 516W drone is the first drone with a flight time of up to 15 minutes on a single battery charge. The quadcopter has the functions of holding altitude, blocking the course, returning home, able to perform auto takeoff / auto landing / emergency stop, carries a camera on board that broadcasts video to a smartphone in real time.
Unlike other models with a maximum flight time of 7-9 minutes, the JXD 516W quadcopter is equipped with a large lithium polymer (LiPo) two-cell (2S) battery with a capacity of 800 mAh with a nominal voltage of 7.4 V.
Charging time with a standard charger is up to 120 minutes, but the model flies up to 15 minutes on one battery!
The controllability of the model is provided by a 6-axis gyroscope paired with an electronic barometer, thanks to which the JXD 516W quadcopter can maintain a given altitude with a constant position of the throttle stick.
Piloting a model with altitude hold is easier, especially for beginners. In addition, the quadcopter can perform automatic take-off / landing by pressing one button, and for critical situations there is a mode of instant engine stop.
The JXD 516W drone has a course lock mode. In it, the copter can be rotated around its axis as much as necessary, while it will not lose the initially selected direction forward / backward / left / right.
The pilot does not need to keep an eye on where the copter's head is pointing. In heading lock mode, the copter can return home by pressing one button.
The case design of the model is made in the style of the JXD line and resembles its ancestor - 509W. Compared to it, however, the JXD 516W has a new and improved frame design that provides better aerodynamics and strength.
In addition, the JXD 516W quadcopter is slightly larger and heavier than the 509 series, and is equipped with new engines and electronics.
The JXD 516W quadcopter is equipped with an HD camera with online video broadcast to a smartphone and the ability to control the copter from a smartphone. A special application is installed on the smartphone for this.
