Henri Seydoux founded Parrot in 1994 and is still its CEO today.
In January 2010, a prototype Parrot AR.Drone quadcopter, piloted over Wi-Fi from a smartphone, was unveiled at the CES (a consumer electronics show held annually in Las Vegas, USA).
2014 - Parrot unveils Rolling Spider mini drone and Jumping Sumo in Las Vegas.
In the spring of 2014, the company announced the release of the radio-controlled AR Drone 3.0 model, codenamed Bebop, which allowed a bird's eye view of the world.
The drone is controlled, among other things, using software installed on a smartphone on iOS or Android, it can also be synchronized with a virtual reality helmet.
Parrot also showed additional features for the Skycontroller with the purchase of the Bebop. Skycontroller equipment is an advanced control equipment that allows Bebop Drone to increase the flight distance up to 2000 meters.
